MICHAEL P. NOLAN - Was first elected as Elma Town Supervisor in 2003 as the youngest Town Supervisor in Elma's history. Mike has brought his business experience to our town government, and has enabled Elma to be one of the lowest taxed communities in Western New York. He has been a life long resident of Elma and resides on Schultz Road with his wife Karla and children Jenna, Hanna, and Michael Jr. His service to the communtiy started long before public office, he has been a volunteer firefighter in the community for over 26 years. He went on to serve as Fire Chief, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors. This is a commitment that he continues to be proud of today.
Mike has served as President of the association of Erie County Governments and the Resolutions Committee of the New York State Association of Towns. Bringing his business experience to government and careful leadership has made Elma a first class community in Erie County.

The Elma Town Hall has served the community well since its dedication in 2004. Supervisor Nolan's business approch to town government has enabled the Town Hall to be paid off in 2008. Mr. Nolan has worked tirelessly for the residents of Elma during his terms of office. He has worked with the Department of Motor Vehicles to establish a satellite office in the community at the Town Hall for the convenience of Elma's residents.

As Supervisor, Michael Nolan has created a New York State Police Sub Station at the Town Hall, along with the Erie County Sheriff's Department. This increased Law Enforcement in the community has keeped Elma one of the safest Towns in Erie County.
